Adding Name to Animation2
Here is another way to adding your name to an animation/tag.
First open PSP and Animation Shop.
Now open the animation that you want to use in Animation shop export one frame to Paint shop and chose the color from the animate tag to use for your name. Close (X) the frame it will send it back to Animation shop. In Paint Shop open a new canvas and type your name and add any effects you want to use. I use a puff effect with a small drop shadow to help my name to stand out.
Once you have your name the way you want copy.
Go to Animation Shop right click and paste as new animation.![]()
Your name will appear on a new frame (canvas),
Go to the tool bar and click the propagate paste button.
This will add your name to all the animated frames you are working with.
Go to the tool bar and make a new canvas
give yourself plenty of room to work with. The animation I am using for this tutorial is 207 x 277 so I will make my new canvas 400 x 400.
Duplicate
the new canvas with the total number of frames that is in the animation that you are using for your name.
My is 2 frames
you should have your blank canvas now to add your animation and name to.
Go to Edit down to Select All
on both blank and animation, this will highlight the frames in red.
Click on the top of the animation canvas and go to edit down to copy.
Now click the top of the blank canvas and go to edit down to paste/ Into Selected Frame.
Place the image where you want it and click the left button to place it there.
Now click on the name canvas go to Edit down to Copy, back to canvas that you pasted the animation on, it should be still have all frames highlighted in red. Place name where you want it and left click to place.
This is what will happen when you use propagate paste button that I told you to set at the first of the tutorial.

You are almost finished all you have to do now is set frame properties to what the orginal animation was set by right click on each frame down to frame properties. My first frame is set to 350 and the second to 10.
Time to crop your animation click on the crop tool
then click options
a box will appear
click on Surround the opaque area then ok. This will crop away all blank areas of the canvas. Resize if wanted.....
Save with these settings for a clean look....Better Image Quality/Customize.....Optimized Octree....Error Diffusion
Click tab Partial Transparency...Convert pixels less than 70%
Yes blend with this color (white)

Finished............
